Affiliate Disclosure
Watt My Roof may earn compensation from clearly identified affiliate links or commercial relationships. That compensation does not change the price you pay.

If a link can earn Watt My Roof a commission, we will disclose that relationship where the recommendation or link appears—not only on this policy page.
How affiliate links work
Some current or future links may lead to a retailer, product provider, installer marketplace or other company that pays Watt My Roof if a visitor clicks, requests information or makes a purchase. The commission is paid by the company and ordinarily does not add a separate charge to the visitor.
How links will be labeled
Material commercial relationships will be disclosed in plain language, such as “affiliate link,” “sponsored” or “we may earn a commission.” The disclosure will be placed close enough to the recommendation that a visitor can understand the relationship before acting on it.
Calculator independence
Affiliate compensation does not alter the solar panel count produced by the calculator. The estimate is generated from the user’s inputs and the formula published in the calculator methodology.
Recommendations are not guarantees
A product or service mention is not a guarantee of price, availability, performance, suitability or results. Visitors should evaluate equipment, warranties, installer licensing, quotes and local requirements independently before purchasing.
Sponsored content and free products
If Watt My Roof publishes paid content or receives a free product, discounted service or other material benefit connected to coverage, that relationship will be disclosed clearly with the content.
