By accessing or using Watt My Roof, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not rely on or use the website or calculator.

Educational use only

Calculator results and articles are general educational information. They are not electrical, structural, engineering, construction, financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Use the estimate as a starting point for research and professional conversations.

No installation or performance guarantee

The calculator cannot inspect your roof, electrical service, shade, weather, equipment, utility account or local rules. Actual energy production, panel count, roof fit, project cost, incentives, bill savings and payback may differ materially from the estimate.

Before purchasing or installing equipment, obtain a site-specific assessment from appropriately qualified professionals and confirm current requirements with your utility and local permitting authority.

Results depend on the accuracy and suitability of the information entered and the general assumptions described in the methodology. Watt My Roof may revise assumptions as the calculator develops. A changed assumption may produce a different result.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Watt My Roof is not responsible for third-party websites, products, quotes, installers or privacy practices. Some links may be affiliate links and will be identified as described in the Affiliate Disclosure.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal or business research. You may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misrepresent calculator results as a certified design or reproduce substantial site content in violation of applicable rights.

Changes and continued use
